Post by nancyc on Jan 1st, 2005, 4:56am hate to be such a baby but I am hurting like hell...my back is driving me nuts(as of today, I have had one epidural, one SI joint injection and Botox in the back and butt)...I have no more wrinkles on my butt !Unfortunately I have dealt with breakthrus with my chs...and my Grandson, Tristan is in Geogia this weekend....ain't life hell sometimes....Thank GOD for the good times and I do have those too....sorry to complain but i am sick of icepacks on my back and ass along with imitrex shots...and no grandson with me rite now LOL ;;D....and you guys are the only ones that truly understand...So., it is time for everyone else to SOUND OFF NOW! I hate to be the only one complaining....even though I am grateful to be alive! .PS...Happy New YEar.....i love you all, smiles,nancyc ;;D |

I am still hurting like hell and eating pain pills, muscle relaxers and having to work on top of it all....THe MRI did show that I have some kind of growth, tumor on my spine (lumbar)...but my neuro does not seem to really care about this..all he wants to do is treat the symptoms......HOPE ALL OF YOU HAD A GREAT NEW YEAR......I love you all! ;;Dnancyc PS damn, i feel like the Grinch that stole Christmas with all my aches and pains. LMAO..Back pain sucks! |

And then i realize I have you guys and my grandson...my sweet son is spending all his time working, and taking care of his wife and child...and he needs to do that...He is attentive to me but still has no idea what I am going thru.....I AM SCARED..But I dont want my son to know that.....i Have never experienced any thing like this..Atleast with chs, I knew what I was dealing with.....so thanks again for being in my corner...btw, if anyone comes thru SC and wants to drop in to visit me, I would welcome that...I miss you guys and gals! May you all have a wonderful New YEAR! God bless you all...smiles,nancyc PS i may be going out of work for awhile....will talk to my doc and my STD company tomorrow. |

I have had back pain off and on for years, but got a lesson in relativity earlier this year - - OOPS - - last year . . . 2/28/04 had cystectomy (removed my bladder and prostate) and they built a neobladder out of intestine and rehooked the plumbing (I don't have a stoma). Evidently, they more or less bend you backwards kind of like tying you backwards over a barrel for the operation which does wonderful things to your back and nerves (still have "hot spot"in left thigh from stretched nerves - neuropathy). Post surgery chemo kicked in more back pain I thought I was over with . . . . . wrong. Celebrex and percocets for the back pain until I dropped the Celebrex a week ago . . . will have to see/call doc tomorrow for suggestions. At present, my back pain is bearable . . . . I hope your's gets that way soon. Be safe, Richard |

I hope that soon, perhaps even in my lifetime, the capability will exist to "record" sensations, both pleasure and pain and "playback" those sensations to a third party. That way, guys could experience a female orgasm and females a male orgasm and better yet, patients could "playback" their pain to doctors/healthcare workers for a "second opinion" . . . . just to see if "insignificant" or not.. ;) |

Post by Donna_H on Jan 3rd, 2005, 10:12am Hey sis...haven't been ignoring you..have been having problems with my back too...three bulging discs, severe spinal stenosis and scoliosis acting up. They put me on Arthrotec, but my blood pressure shot up to 235/110 and it took a while for that stuff to wear off and then was put on HCTZ and Norvasc. It's hell getting old(er). I was out of work for 10 weeks. I'm so happy to hear about the family doing well....you sound happy and I am happy for you about that, but not the back...you are still on my prayer list. I haven't been able to open my hotmail account since before Christmas....it just won't download...like there's an overload going on. Drop me a note using my dmh114@lycos.com account, OK?
