We finally had to put the village out of reach... one of the young 'Vikings' decided plundering was good.
So much for the Starburst walkway to the house.  all gone.

My niece Amelia got a set of magnets from 'Santa' and made herself into an Egyptian Princess.... at least that's what she said she was doing... I learned not to argue!

that's nice, eddie. can you add aromatherapy oils to it? That is of course if scents aren't a trigger for you.

eddie,

lavender is relaxing, eucalyptus sharpens the mind and feels good if you've got a stuffy nose, cedar helps you sleep...so many choices, so many effects. I have a small bodycare business and I love aromatherapy.

let's see.
Brown a 5 pound pot roast in oil in a big pan...then add water (about 2 inches), onions, carrots, spuds (or do you call 'em taters?) yes even part of a rutabaga.  wtf you ask? why the hell not?  
When nobody's looking, add about a cup of red wine.
Don't tell you did it either.
Cover and bake in the oven at 300 for about 5 hours.
Remove from oven and let stand for a few minutes.
Stand around and drool.
Then slice the poor thing.  Careful.  It falls apart and it's F'ing hot.
Drool some more.
Add some black pepper.
Drool some more.
Serve it up!

Errrrr......Vig........

That exact recipe is called Yankee Pot Roast.. Amazing that you left North Carolina, toured FoamHenge, then landed in Maryland for a north of the Mason-Dixon line smorgasboard. Another 50 miles north, and you could've been knee deep in shoo-fly pie.

Great pics, everyone.  I'm drooling after seeing the roast.  Here are a couple of my Christmas projects:

This is the toybox I made for Sahara.  She loved it.  18" tall x 18" deep x 36" long.  The butterfly on the back is about 36" tall.

I should have said I have a bath and bodycare business that is homebased and does not do a lot of sales.  :P
