With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world today, it is worth
reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went
unnoticed last week.

Larry La Prise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey", died peacefully at
age 93.

The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin.
They put his left leg in, and then the trouble started.

You know, thinking about it, that song has, and still entertains children, it's not been a come-and-go fad. I just can't help wondering, what the hell was that guy thinking when he wrote a song and a dance like that. ;;D

It taught me my left and right, ready for prom night. ;)

I think we are all going to feel pretty dumb if we find out the Hokey Pokey ......IS.....what it's all about!
