I am constantly asked"What can I do for the soldiers is there anything they need"... pass this on to your friends and family that want to spread some loveplease consider the following:

The number ONE request at Walter Reed hospital is phone cards. The
government doesn't pay long distance phone charges and these wounded
soldiers are rationing their calls home. Many will be there
throughout
Really support our troops
Send phone cards of any amount to:

Medical Family Assistance Center
Walter Reed Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20307-5001

Here's the address of a friend of mine who's in Iraq, right now. Care packages are greatly appreciated. Ordinary, basic stuff that can be had at any dollar store: Candy, daily amenities, toiletries, photos, cards, letters of support, etc.
