Title: etiquette question
Post by nani on Dec 9th, 2004, 12:28am
Suppose you haven't seen someone around for awhile. So you PM and ask if they're ok. You don't get a response. You have their phone numbers. There is no reason to suspect anything is wrong. Should you call 'em?

Call them N. They probably just haven't read their PMs. That's what friends are for.

Q: Have you had sex with the person?

If the answer is yes don't bother, he probably changed his number.

KIDDING!  Why not call if it's on your mind?  Whadaya have to lose.

Depends on whether you are stalking them or not...  [smiley=laugh.gif]

Why not?

Keep in mind - if they haven't logged into this site - they may not even have gotten the PM. Did you check to see if it was read?

Also - many people will hesitate to reply - even to someone they would normally want to talk to - if things are not going well. A phone call may very well be just what the person needs to feel like someone cares right now.

That's what friends are for.
