Yesterday I spent the day in depositions over a fall I had about four years ago which produced two other kinds of headaches as well as excellerating my CH (when I'd been in remission for so long).

This IDIOT lawyer was very condensending about CH and the other headaches. I've never really wanted to actually murder anyone before, but this was all on the court record so I had to keep my cool (pretty much).

How do you explain CH (or meegrains for that matter) to some condensending jerk who probably never had a headache in his life. "How do the CH feel Ms. H?) They hurt like hell you jerkface! How long do they last. What do you take for them. Why did your doctor prescribe this that or the other. What meds did you take this morning? Have you ever done illegal drugs (that one I kinda skirted around thank you very much!)

My attorney even got ticked at this jerk - He's actually seen me go thru a CH and it scared him to death. He KNOWS how it looks even if he can't feel it.

After we left my attorney told me I held my own (this was before I exploded when we got to the car!) Then he laughed about it and said the suit will never get to court. My doc has it documented real well. Wish me luck - we go to mediation next week if all goes well. Just haven't decided how much I want to ask from these jerks.

Did I mention I was at about a 5 during this time?

My life is just one fun thing after another.....

Mom, could not reach the case of scotch on the top shelf, so she shook the shelf and it fell on her ;;D

Sure fire way to cure a headache, having a bottle of scotch fall on your head [smiley=laugh.gif].
Some lawyers aren't too nice, that's a fact.
Should have just stood on the table and went postal on the jerk!

What you need is a spike tomahawk, the type with a axe like head with the spike..

It is a simple tool.. You swing it with all yer might into said jerks eye, then withdraw it and change to the blade and re-strike getting the cheek and ear.. Do that repeatedly for as long as yer Ch lasts, and said jerk will get the idea..

Perhaps if it did get to court, a reading of this IDIOT lawyer's deposition questioning of you to a jury and then a short showing of Chuck's hit will certainly express the knowledge this lawyer has of the case he is trying ::) >:(, or just expose his obvious downplaying of your pain in an effort to not pay. Oh, I think after a bit of "taking him to school" the jury may be rather generously biased.

What you need is to have your lawyer be such a prick that he spends a lot of time successfully defending himself in disbarment hearings.

You know I think my neuro is about the only one who never asked me how CH felt. I commented on it one time and he said, "They hurt like hell and you can't describe the pain so why should I ask?" Made sense to me (he has migraines and told me he's glad for what he's got and doesn't have what I have.)

I fell in a four foot ditch (the scotch was on top of the damn fence -- dogs put it there) on my head and hit a big rock because the telephone company left cables (no easement thank you) all over my yard even after I told them to get them out of my yard. 6 months later they were still there and I wasn't looking where I was going.

I think my back doesn't feel too good right now either. I'm still ticked off at that jerk. Don't know if he wants to show up at mediation or not. I'm getting numbers together now.

Anyhow -- it's been a fun thing.. I just love explaining CH to non believers.
