It is back. A year & a month early.

Shadow Saturday. Two mild hits Sunday.

Most surprising was how completely depressed I was about it. Nothing depresses me... ever... even in-episode I deal with it just fine. Yet yesterday simply sucked... spent several hours chanting the 'fuck fuck fuck fuck' mantra... the 'it is back' despair nailed me hard for the first time ever.

Completely back to normal (psychologically!) today... not any concern there. Worked out a great set of treatments at the end of the most recent event, thus have no reason to suspect they will not be effective today.

So here we go.

Sorry to hear you're starting up at all, let alone so early. Hopefully it's just a freak occurrence and will settle back down. Sounds like you have a game plan.

Hang on there. Don't let it get the best of you.

It's still only shadows for me right now but I think it's time (sadly) to hide the Guiness from myself till it's over because I'm getting more shadows now and they are hitting a little harder when they come.

No night time hits yet (Thank you God). I'd be willing to accept a month of shadows as opposed to one night time wake up call from the beast. I really dread knowing that the night time hits will eventually find me.

Still playing hide and seek with the beast but I think he spotted me. Now I'm running for a different place to hide.

Buckle up and keep the abortives loaded.

Sounds like you already have a plan for how you intend to send the beast packin - Should help with your spirits. If the combination of snake oil and witches brew doesn't do the trick this time around I would recommend a pred taper. I was pleasantly surprised with how well it worked. Hope it works for me next time, in 2 years or more if the visits follow the pattern.

Sorry Rock. Get back into the swing and dont let him win. I understand the depression though. It just hits sometimes, usually not when you expect it to. But we are all here and understand.

Kick his ass. Maybe it is just a break though and will stop before it really gets started. < fingers crossed >

I'm sorry to hear that Wrokk. I hope this is a fast cycle for you. I try not to dwell on it. I can even laugh at it when I'm not in actual pain. Weird, I know...
