This just fucking sucks, but I guess it is all better to get the tests... Sorry I'm rambling right now.

The doctors want to test me for Lupus. I know that I am at higher risk due to the fact that I have 2 Auto-immune diseases already. And my Mother has been diagnosed for MS about 4 yrs ago. Due to the fact that heiredity is also a factor in risk, it is a chance that I will end up with more.

I was last tested for Lupus over 10 yrs ago multiple times and it always came back neg, so I just never thought about it again.

Sorry just needed to get it out, as I feel like I am about to lose it when I think about it. So at least getting it out here then I can keep it under control here at work.

EDIT: Sorry I see the doc at 11 to set up the blood work and such, so I will keep you posted.

Yep: Get tested. Not knowing for sure and wondering is worse than finding out and being relieved, or else beginning a proactive course of treatment. Either way, gitterdone. I'm pullin' for you. [smiley=hug.gif]

I had to get tested fer that too......I think it is onea them things they jus gotta rule OUT.......I know several people that were diagnosed with MS and even on meds for several years.....changed there life styles drastically.....one guy even sold his bike expecting to get worse. Meds were hard on some of them to get used to and was a tramatic issue for the family. And.......months or even years later.......new test results said they DID NOT have it !!!! There's always room for drastic change in diagnoses Pam

Yeah. Get tested. I just had all my "plumbing" done and I had been putting it off. It's nice to know that nothing's working its way around in there.

Get it done and you'll feel better here anyway.

Well I guess i need to actually go do my testing tomorrow. I got the paper work but just did not get my ass out to get it done and with the fasting they want, I always ended up eating. Got a surprise today going to post it seperatly. Just very beautiful.

Thanks for all the vibes guys, I will let you know as soon as I have at least some results. We are doing the full work ups as well just o make sure everything checks out ok.
