Title: Between yesterday, last night and this morning...
Post by Carl_D on Dec 2nd, 2004, 4:07pm
I spent roughly about 12 hours on my book.

This is ALL I WANT for Christmas, is to finish this book. It is long overdue, but in some ways that is good, as time has changed some things.

I can hear Paul singing now... "Dear Sir or Madame will you read my book. It took me YEARS to write, will you take a look?"

Peace,
Carl D

Ahh....

The Beatles. Now, I have to get out some of my Beatles stuff and listen for a while.

What kind of book are you working on? Fiction, non-fiction/romance(kidding)/horror?

Actually, it is all of those, with some comedic content as well. It is a fictional story of a guy named Wyatt Evans who has everything going for him in life, until he starts getting clusters and they slowly tear his world down.
I think it will be the hardest book I will ever write, as I am combining fiction with reality, and am trying to capture every aspect of the beast, from the sufferer to the supporter...to those who will never understand.

My favorite line in the book so far....

After being hit twice at school, and running errands to try and get home in a hurry, Wyatt gets hit on the highway and has to pull off an exit into a parking lot. He slams his head into the steering wheel and thinks to himself.... (this is the line....)

This was as lost as hopeless could get; He thought to himself.

Peace,
Carl D

No Cootie; that's what they do in Washington.

Go to it Carl. I remember your posting about this. All I hope is that you feel well enough to do it.
