Title: Happy Birthday to my little supporter! Post by cschick on Dec 1st, 2004, 9:46pm MY BABY IS 7 TOMORROW!!!!!!!! :( :) I have mixed emotions! He is so excited! He gets to take cupcakes to school for snack time and we are going to Incredible Pizza on Saturday for a little birthday party. He is a great mini supporter. Makes sure to keep me awake when I am using the o2. He overheard me telling Chris that I needed to cut the straps of my mask because of danger of falling asleep so Colin has taken it upon himself to talk to me while I am using the o2. He is 3 and doesn't take a blind bit of notice when I'm sitting here with my mask on but every time its over he comes and pats me on the hand and bends down to look at me ( which I find very patronising.. ain't THAT short!!) and asks "Is your nose better now mummy?Funny how they perceive things isn't it?! |

She's now 16 months old. In order to keep her from being afraid of the mask, I took the bag and hose off a mask and let her play with it and made a game of putting it on my face and her face. Now, sometimes when I am sitting there sucking O2, she grabs her mask and has me put it on her. So cute. I'll have to get a picture of us together in our masks. LOL Gator |

He was so exhausted he didn't even argue about going to bed he was so worn out tonight! He also remembered his manners and just came back down here to the living room and said "Mama, please say thank you to all the people who said Happy Birthday to me!" That is a direct quote - such a good kid. Remind me of this the next time he humiliates me in public! |
