Saturday was great: got flowers, spent time with my daughter, got an email response from my son's drill sergeant saying he was working hard, doing a stellar job, and would graduate, was the first (um, second) to find out my sister's pregnant.....

Today, however, sucks. It just plain sucks. It's not fair.... things should be fair.... if you weren't wrong, you shouldn't have to pay for it.... what are we gonna do? geez, any more stress and i'll be in the hospital under sedation... this just SUCKS

what next? a third fire? a third car accident? more money stolen from me? when is enough enough? when does it start to get GOOD? I know I can handle it... I always do no matter what it is or how bad it ends up being.... I don't want to though.... Too much is happening.... it just sucks.

Maybe you're burning off karma. Hang in there... Maybe tonight, take a long hot bath and head to bed early. When I've had crappy days, that's what I've done. Lying in bed and reaching over to turn off the light, my feeling is one of relief: "Oh, thank god this day over!!"

Liz, hang in there. For some reason life seems to get tough and the days get longer and longer and it lasts and lasts way longer than we think we can endure. And then the sun comes out.

Hey there Lizzie-gal,

Hope today was better than yesterday!! It's funny how stuff can change so fast. Sometimes I wake up in the morning, and things are going great...and then maybe 2 hours later, something random happens, and I just want to crawl in a hole and die! You can join me and Eric (E-double) in calling ourselves Murph (children of Murphy's Law) ;)

Yeah...today was just one of those...eh yeah lived another day...SSDD. Every once in awhile, the days are tolerable. Sometimes I have really good days (I think that's about twice a year!) and then most days are shitty, but I try to remember the things that make me happy.

And then I REALLY try to cut myself a break when I'm having the worst days.

Oh and yeah.....usually every week I pay $25 to vent to a psychiatry resident who listens very well! ;) Hey...I hate the antidepressants, but it sure as hell helps me if I can vent unconditionally!!!! He's like, "hey you can talk about whatever you want...if you feel like swearing, just do it. This is supposed to be a safe place." It's awesome. Thank goodness I go tomorrow because it's been about a month!
