Post by JDH on Dec 1st, 2004, 1:59pm
I got to work this morning and turned my calendar to Dec and on 12/26 it says Boxing Day (Canada).
What are they talking about?  [smiley=huh.gif]

Why thank you Thomas, I did not know you did not celebrate Boxing day there.. I always knew you folks were weird..... ;;D

Funny Boxing day now everyone has their own way of celebrating but the best way is to head to the malls for the sales!

well, duh, Jeep - you can see it live at any Canadian shopping mall on Boxing Day.  Who needs ESPN?

kinda cool this year because we get Monday and Tuesday off after Christmas because both stat holidays fall on the weekend.

Boxing Day is also for eating those turkey sammiches and leftover stuffing.  Sleeping lots and just bonding with all your new loot!!

Canada rocks!  :)

I believe we got it from the Brits - thanks!  It's a perfect day to just curl up with a good book and relax after all the hectic times of the holiday.

You Brits have Guy Fawkes too.  ::)

We ain't got no boxing day. Americans are too busy exchanging horrible DVDs and "editing" Hickory Farms gift packages.

Actually, it's always seemed like a good idea to me.

Well you have thanksgiving and we don't so its tit for tat... and NO Jonny that is NOT an offer!!

Its a much needed day in this house to get over the day before, take the kids to the park to burn off some energy or watch all the old films on TV if the weather is crappy.. I love it! Prefer it to Xmas day every time.
