Went to the ER tonight for a shot of SoluMedrol. Anyways...while I was there I learned that my uncle was admitted and in surgery. He had a heart attack. Doc says there are still many blood clots that need to be dealt with. He's made it through the first surgery now they are going to move him into another hospital in Louisville. He's fighting for his life and is not out of the woods yet.

A prayer for my uncle would be appreciated

Thanks everyone.
He made it through last night. They did an 'emergency surgery' to remove blood clots in his leg(s) after the heart attack. They said they're were several clots and he might lose a leg. That surgery was thought to have went ok until earlier today when they had to rush him back to the OR for another 'emergency surgery'. Again they claim success (for now). He kept his leg but has several stents in veins (or arteries??). He's completely knocked out because they don't want him to move his leg at all. He still needs at least 2 more surgeries. The first to deal with more blood clots in an arm (which might require amputation also) and the second will be open heart. The docs aren't giving the family much hope right now.
Still not out of the woods. Family is prayin'.

May God be with you in this time of need. I pray for Him to watch over your uncle during recovery and future surgeries.

jonny's boot is on the way (Man, I hope this works)

I told my Dad right before kidney removal (He was 72 with emphysema(SP?) that if he didnt come back he would get the boot.....when he woke up he said "I see your wearing sneakers"
