Yesterday was one of the worst CH days I've ever had.

Hoping today goes MUCH better as I can't take days like yesterday.

Exactly how long did your DHE vacation last? Not long enough for the cost, I'm sure. My neuro thinks I'm crazy for not letting him put me in the hospital to do the DHE thing. Oh, well.

I hope things start going better for you.

Gator,

The inpatient DHE vacation lasted a bit over a month. Then I was prescribed DHE injections for home use and they helped as well.

The DHE worked much better and longer than the triptans, for me, and the Zonegran did a good job once I increased the dose after the hospital stay.

However, I'm tired of pills and painful DHE injections and clusters so I have detoxed off of everything and am left open to the beast with only o2 to battle him for the next few days.

Things WILL turn around very soon and I'll kick the beast out the door but it's just getting thru this few days of detox that is kicking my butt.

This too shall pass..one hour at a time. I'll just keep telling myself that and soon be pf.

I'm gonna win this battle....eventually,
