do you mean into your profile or posting a pic? I used the tips for editing your button from the msg board topics and followed the post by E/Eyeball there for posting a pic
editing your profile is the same.. you just cut and paste the url into the space for a picture

First upload your pic onto the web. I use photobucket.com

Then right click the pic and click on properties.

Highlight the url address and right click again. Click copy.

Come to ch.com. Click the little "insert image" button up there on the tool bar.

Place your cursor between the brackets. Right click and click paste. The pictures url should now appear between the brackets. Click post.

I found out I couldn't get pics to show up I had saved in shutterfly anymore for my profile......but it used to work ! I have some cool pics uploaded there that I can't use.......why is that ? Maybe I'll check out that bucket bingo whatever site......the pics for posts that shows up to the left are called 'avitar's' I found out. Wish I could post pics too in threads.......have never learned the art of that. Simple minds Pam

Put a little K-Y on it first. Insertion is a lot easier if you don't skip that important step.

Ruth.....

I see a couple of things there that explain a lot of why that didn't work.

The second 'img' tag is missing the left side of the brackets (This thing '[' ).

Also... From looking at the path that you are trying to post, it looks like you are trying to post something that is directly on your hard drive. This won't work. The picture you want to post has to be on a system that is set up to be a web server. This is why everyone recommends uploading your pictures to Shutterfly or another of the web sites that will host you pictures for free.

thanks guys, yes he is a real special little man. Much like his Daddy, red hair and temperment to match.
I go to Indiana often to babysit him, his parents are flight attendants for United.
We have some great times that boy and I.
