Title: Computer help needed! Post by EBaby on Nov 28th, 2004, 7:11pm Hi I am trying to down load a preschool computer program for my grandson. I keep getting this message. C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/AUTOEXEC.NT The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications.Choose close to terminate the application. What does all that mean? How can I fix it to work? it says it will work with windows XP. Please help if you can. Thanks Elaine |

Title: Re: Computer help needed! Post by Opus on Nov 28th, 2004, 9:49pm This seems to be a problem others are having with the NT5.X kernels, as seen here. (http://www.webuser.co.uk/cgi-bin/forums/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=PC&Number=55432&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=6&o=93∂=) The fix doesn't seem to work either so see Here (http://www.webuser.co.uk/cgi-bin/forums/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=tips&Number=92053&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=14∂=) for a short cut to the problem.
