The 4 day weekend is almost here.

My sympathy to those of you who don't get one. I had to use a vacation day for Friday myself.

Edited to add this stuff after my system started acting goofy and part of my post got posted.

I wish you all a happy, safe, PF, turkey filled (or veggy filled for andy boy), Thanksgiving.

Be safe and sane and all that stuff.

sadly we don't have any holidays until Christmas but I'm sorely tempted to hi-jack yours, really like the idea of sitting down to a nice meal with the family and thinking about why we are so lucky.. might just do that tomorrow anyway! Not cooking a turkey though.. lugging one of those brutes home from the shops once a year is quite enough for me.. I'll cheat and do chicken!

Good luck and chicken sounds good too. A lot of ham was consumed at this time of year by my gluttonous family when I was younger as well.

I love Thanksgiving. Food and American football......

Me? I have to work. But, what the heck, it pays triple time$ and I still be home in time for dinner. :D

Then I get a 5 day weekend. ;;D We're going to load a couple of grandsons and head for Bryce Canyon to see the wife's family.

My kids say this holiday really sucks. No presents, no friends, you have to stay home and smell poultry cook for 6 hours. Youth is wasted on the young. Ergo.................
