Title: Working hard in Faluja... Post by Ree on Nov 19th, 2004, 5:10pm Don't forget to pray for the troops... !!! Heard from Scott today and man they are busy... I am always so scared and then I talk to him... He wants me to send Blowpops to him so that every kid in Iraq can have a Blow pop... He said they last a long time and then for all your work you get a piece of gum. If you play it right he said you could make it last all week... My kid is cool... wonder where he gets that??????????? remember I love you guys... Ree |

Title: Re: Working hard in Faluja... Post by Ree on Nov 21st, 2004, 8:14pm Thanks to you all but over the holidays they have asked that only the families mail packages to them... and We WILL take care of this shipment of pops... After the holidays is a different story... he loves to tell stories about how the kids come running whenever they fly by... and come out to get the candy they throw down to them... One kid he said was this little cutie... and he grabbed a bag of candy and ran with it... Now there were lots of other kids on his trail so the guys in the copter decided to follow to see that they didn't pulverize the kid... He said when the kid reached his house he turned and waved to the helicopter like they were his escort home LOL... I hope he is writing some of these stories... God is funny you know I think HE put those kids in the eyes of my son so that he wouldn't miss home and his own... He is a good son, dad, pilot and now humanitarian........... Im so proud again thanks for the offers... love to you all and Happy Thanks giving Ree |
