I wish everyone KNEW WHAT CH WAS, of course then they would be looking for better meds, but not just that so when I was at my daughters school for school things and I was having a CH hit or even just bad shawdowing. I could just say to the other mothers who are in my face OH, sorry I am being hit right now so I can't talk. And they would go (very lady like) OH, my dear thats fine hope you are better soon. And EVERYWHERE I would go if I was being hit, everyone would know and really understand. Even just that would make my life much easier. But thats in my dream life!!!!

Sheesh... No kidding. Actually, if we're going to make crazy wishes, I wish there were no such thing as CH. :-/

You all have to move to my little town, Jamestown, NY. I asked the ear specialist I went to yesterday if he knew of it. He had a pretty good take on Ch. I'm telling ya...I make it a point to ask about CH everywhere I go and so far every nurse and MD here has some idea...and some a very good idea what this horror is.

From what I read here, this isn't the norm. Would that it were so....

Most people in the medical profession no what CH's are some seem to understand the horrible pain, but very few people outside that profession understand and yes, it would be very nice if they did.
However, if you asked me what it is like to have MS. I have an idea of what it is like but I couldn't really relate to that persons ordeal, same would be true with many an illness out there.
So my point is, we all remain ignorant until educated.

I would have to disagree with that. I feel like not too many ppl, even in the medical profession, know what CH is.

I agree, unfortunately CH is not known about and it has the added misfortune of not sounding very serious. I have coeliac disease too and not many people have heard of that either so I seem to spend all my time explaining what both are.

Next time I want something common and curable please!
