Hello everyone. This is my first post on the board. My name is Jack, I'm from Missouri and am now living in Saudi. I've had the Beast for the last 14-15 years and vary from episodic to chronic and back again. The meds over here are pathetic but at least I don't have to get prescriptions for most of them. (Caffergot & Immigran)
Anyway, just wanted to say "hi" to all and wish you well.

Hi Jack, I spent some time in Jeddah in the first gulf war. At least you don't have to worry about getting triggered by alcohol ;) Welcome aboard, nice first post. :)

I know the feeling, i waited almost 7 years to see a doc, i was sure i was gonna die. And it is a big relief knowing what it is.

Hey Jack! I just found these wacko's about a month ago and have already grown to love 'em! I am from Misery, oops, I mean Missouri too! What parts are you from? I was convinced for a long time too that I had a brain tumor, I understand the "relief" of finding out it's "just Cluster Headaches"! ::) Read up and educate yourself. There is a lot of great information in these messed up people around here! ;;D

Heh. Wrong! I just finished fermenting 2 cases of red. Of course, I can't actually drink it right now but by the time my cycle ends the stuff will actually be aged a few months.
Much better than the standard "Yes, Tuesday was such a good vintage." ;;D

I was in Al-Khobar for that one and wish I was back there right now. The last scud that killed those troops was a measured 322 meters from my back door. Took out some of my windows and generally scared the crap outa me. As far as Iraq goes; No thanks. A buddy just brought an MP5 back from there, says small arms are common as dirt.

Thank you all. "Thank you" doesn't really express my gratitude for the freely given welcome and help but it's all I have to offer. If this isn't the friendliest amd most welcoming board on the net I'll be very surprised.
I hope to be a positive force on the board and if I can help someone please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm not sure what I can do from this distance but if someone needs something from the Middle East please tell me.

DITTO!!! I came here looking for information, I found that in abundance and I also found comfort from seeing others cope which made me pull my own socks up and realise I too could get on with it (most of the time!) I'm still get hit every day but I'm still hopeful that tomorrow might be the day it stops.

You know what though? Even if I never get another CH again I'll never leave because my visits here are something I look forward to. I think about people from here and how I can't wait to meet you all in person and it never fails to put a smile on my face!
