My sister had gastric bypass on Tuesday and is doing wonderfully. I am really relieved of how well she is doing. She goes Tuesday to have the drain removed and staples out. I am heading home tomorrow morning. Only 3-4 hours depending on traffic and looking forward to sleeping in a bed again! I have been mostly PF while here. More probs with the migraines than the Clusters. I have to say thanks especially to someone who knows who they are for listening to me yak and being able to get to know you better! You kept me sane goober! ;;D

Good news? nope thats great news! I was watching a programme about it on breakfast tv yesterday funnily enough and they had three women who all said that their lives had re-started since having the op.
So heres to the good times for your sister now! :)

I am not sure what a gastric bypass is, but I sure glad to hear that all is going well for your sister and you get to go home to your own bed.
I just spent 5 days in Indiana babysitting my 9 month old grandson and I was sure glad to get home to my own bed.
Miss the little guy though.

Thanks all! She is a great woman and will recover just fine! She's stronger than she thinks! I love her to death - she was my protector growing up so now I have to watch over her.
