Yeah, the Swedish Academy should have listened to Americans that can display their opinion on a button, before awarding Yasser Arafat the 1994 Nobel Prize for Peace.....

Pretty dumb to give an active terrorist the Peace Prize. Arafat has turned down every offer to settle the middle east problems. Even offered him a settlement with autonomy for Palestine, 99% of what he asking for, and he turned it down. Arafat wanted nothing less than the total demise of Israel.

Been awhile. I see where this thing comes from. Nevertheless, I never much cared for Arafat. I agree with Tom Friedman of the NY Times that from where he sits, Arafat mostly just liked being Arafat and not really much else.

All day Arafat news bored me to death.
