Title: How to make your boss nervous...... Post by don on Nov 11th, 2004, 5:15pm Call her at 9 AM I ask for assistance in searching for credentialing opportunities to expand your resume. At 2PM she called back and offered me a position as lead consultant to a social service/property management company we contract out to. The management company has over 5000 units of congregate living in Boston serving numerous types of populations. My new, to be negotiated, salary will be in addition to my current salary. Consult scheduling to be completely up to me. I think the 9 AM call mentioning the word "resume" got her a little nervous. LOL Life just got sweeter! |

Maybe she just realized you worked there and looked worse than the third world children on the aid commercials and you tugged some heartstrings. Great news Don, deserving I'm sure. Sometimes subtle tact like that has big repercussions. I'm going to see my boss and brandish a Burger King application and watch her sweat. thanks. Kevin M |
