I would like to post a sincere thank you to the brave men and women who have and are serving in our Armed Forces.

Would like to wish all Vets a Good Veterans Day. Upon reflection, I don't think happy should be in the mix. Just my .02, though...take it for what it's worth.

I'll second that. Anyone who gave up their tomorrow for my today or anyone who is prepared to do that gets my whole-hearted thanks.
Words can't begin to express what we owe for our freedom and it feels a simple thank you can't suffice but

I wasn't sure either. I was going to title it Happy (?) Veterans Day, but I didn't want to look sarcastic. Every year on Veterans Day I tell my husband Happy Veterans Day, because he's here. I didn't know what else to use. [smiley=huh.gif]

In rememberance of all military personel who have passed on from this life, and to all who have served and are serving today. Thank you for all you have done. I will never forget and will continue the gratitude and rememberance with my children.

WWII US Army Staff Sgt. Arthur P. Waldherr, deceased

Vietnam US Army Sgt. James J. Waldherr, deceased

USMC Corporal Michael J. Filtz, Laad Gunner, currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan

USMC Sgt. Daniel A. Filtz, Forward Observer, 4 yrs. served and currently attending college.

Thank you, everyone. Thank you to all of our vets past and present. For me, it was a day of sober reflection for the most part, and a few tears... It was my privilege and honor to serve my nation. Let freedom ring!
