Title: OUCH Store
Post by don on Nov 11th, 2004, 7:42am
Any chance of ever purchasing OUCH coffee mugs?

I have 2 Docs waiting for them.

Don, please direct your questions to the OUCH website and post it there where it will be answered.

Thank you,
Melissa

I would do that if I were a member.

Wasn't aware that OUCH has become so exclusive as to not answer a simple question here.

No Don, it isn't because OUCH has become exclusive (What did I say to warrant such sarcasm [smiley=huh.gif]).  It is because it will be noticed there much sooner than here, but since you are not a member, I guess there is no choice but to answer it here.

Since Elaine had taken over the store and the Treasurer job, the store had to be closed until the books could be put in order.  Right now, BlueMeanie has the OUCH supplies (he volunteered to take them for the meantime), and the store is up in the air until the books finished with being audited.  If my answer is not sufficient for you, I will email the rest of the Officers/BoD for a better one.

Thanks,
Melissa

Know the feeling Don.  I've got 3 or 4 questions sitting on the OUCH MB that have been there for days without comment.  Starting to wonder if the one board there for the members use gets looked at very often?

It was a simple question.

2 lousy coffee mugs is all I wanted.

It would be easier. Just inscribe with a magic marker.

remember, it takes 42 muscles to frown but only four to reach out and smack someone on the side of the head!

Yes Bob, and all your questions are about clusterbusters.  Mark responded to you on OUCH (Nov 9th, the last day you posted on there was also the 9th) and he also posted a response on the meds section of this website.  Was there something else that I missed?

Don there is no Mugs left !  Mugs and Pens were sent to Svenn as a promotional gifts to Doctors. The only thing left are over size T shirts and Bumper stickers and decals.
Due to the fact that my mom needs help with my Dad I have had to turn the Treasure Job over to Michelle. The store over to Bob.  Even though I am no longer there I will promote OUCH and will continue to back them.

Yo, Don - I got a coupla mugs in my cupboard that you could have.  The caption on one of them is "I'm too sexy for my mug" and the other one is "The beatings will continue until morale improves."

Yours if you want 'em.

If you are just looking for something to dip your teabag in, then try the bathhouse.

Don't feel bad Bob!  i've had a question or two that's been lingering for more than just a week or two that no one cared to respond to.

to start with:

Where are the monthly financial reports?  There has not been a completed report posted to the membership since convention.

With Elaine stating she handed over the books to Michelle, does that mean she has resigned as treasurer?  I have not read of any such resignation or handing over of books at ch.org.

Where are the OUCH funds?  What CPA is doing the audit?

The day to day workings of OUCH going behind closed doors is one thing but not keeping us, the members, informed of changes, audits, resignations, etc., is a major lack of communication between the OUCH BoD and the membership.

Just my opinion and since the thread started over here I thought maybe responses would be answered over here.  [smiley=huh.gif]

yeah, way to go, Don.  Sheesh!  You little s-disturber.

Hey, congrats on the new job though.  Cool tactic on the resume ploy!  See?  Today wasn't a total loss.

but, then again - the day's not over yet (as is evidenced by the direction this thread keeps trying to take).

where's Den when we need him?

Would it be a little over the top to believe that my one remaining mug will someday become an extremely valuable collectors item?
