Title: Leesa is home Post by DaveHar on Nov 9th, 2004, 4:53pm First of all to each of you I would like to say thank you for keeping her in your prayers and for all the vibes. Leesa has made it through surgery just fine. They have removed all of her child bearing organs except for one overy. They found a cist growing again on the left overy as well as it being full of fluids yet again. Everything was sent to the lab for testing to make sure there is noting more to worry about as is standard practice with organs after a removal. She MIGHT be home tomorrow late afternoon pending how things look when they remove the packing and bandages. It will also pend on how she does when they try to get her up and walking. As much as I want her home I pray they keep her one extra night so that she can rest. SHE DESERVES A NIGHT OF REST AND AWAY FROM THINGS HERE!!!!! Leesa if and when you read this, I LOVE YOU!!! Leesa, please do not lift anything over 15 - 20 lbs EVER again. Your bladder will thank you later. Oh and I don't know if the dr mentioned it (pay attention Dave) You cannot cook ANY meals for 6 months You cannot operate a vacuum for 1 year And you mustn't clean a bathroom for a minimum of 3 years. ;;D |

She is still having allot of pain in the left side only. We will talk to the doc tomorrow about that. The bleeding has stopped so now we are going to see how much it has stopped when they pull the packing out in the morning. The pain and the bleeding will be the only things that keep her in the hospital at this time. If all goes well she will come home and relax in he new recliner tomorrow. Someone told her that it made things easier to sit in one of those so I did the rent to own thing for her. Thanks again to everyone. Dave PS. Well one thing I know, when she gets home I lose the puter again...LOL...I can't wait to get high speed internet so I can get online with her. |

She is passing clots and the staff and Doc want to keep her there for observation (sp?). She is still bleeding inside somewhere and they need to see if it stops overnight or if they will have to go in and look to find it. The Doc she has is very good and this is very unlike him to have a problem like this. I will keep everyone updated as I can. I ask that no one bother her in the hospital at this time and like I said I will keep you all informed. She is resting well and that is the only good thing about this right now. Thank you everyone. She is resting in her new recliner and trying to get better. The clotting stopped last night and she has had just some minor spotting (you women know what I mean). She looks good outside of being tired. She has asked that no calls be made till next week to give her a chance to rest up and build up her energy levels yet again. I am sure that she will be making some calls soon enough. Billy and Minnie, THANK YOU for the wonderful gift; she loves it. It is hanging on the wall where you can see it as soon as you walk into the house. Everyone, once again I would like to say thank you for all the support you have given. Dave |
