Title: "Fear Factor" birthday party
Post by nani on Nov 8th, 2004, 3:38pm
mooshie's favorite show is Fear Factor  :-/  I am throwing a Fear Factor theme party for her. The guest list has grown into dozens and I only have about  3 good ideas. 1. darken lemonade w/ tea and call it worm juice
2. Blindfold them and make them eat worms (the gummy kind) 3. cold cooked spaghetti noodles as gnu guts...
Any additional ideas from my creative family??

Keep some peeled grapes in the fridge. After the kids have been blindfolded, take the grapes out and tell them that they are putting their hands in a bowl of eyeballs.

Bonus: While still blindfolded, have them start eating the "eyeballs."

Nani,

You can get Jell-o molds in the shape of human brains and hearts. I know you can get them online, but you might be able to get them at Spencers or the like. You can also make green Jell-o and before it sets completey mix it with an electric mixer - to make it frothy. Add the gummy worms to this and it makes it more deliciously digusting.

You could also line marshmallows up in the driveway, spacing them about three feet apart, and then put a small pile of them at the end, and with sidewalk chalk, draw an arrow to them and write, "Snowman terds."  [smiley=laugh.gif]

I love doing stuff like that too!
Pipe chocolate buttercream into "turds" and put one on a plate on the floor.. the kids find it hilarious that the cat/dog "did it".. you can pick it up and stick your finger in it, taste it and say "nope.. not our dog" That should traumatise them for weeks going on my experience!!

Great ideas!!! I'm definitley gonna make the kitty litter cake and will likely use all these ideas! Thanks sooo much. I don't suppose anyone has a recipe for edible slime that I can color to look like snot?

Just asked him indoors what I did to the kids last year and he remembered bowls of desiccated coconut ( dead lice!) Raisins were bat poo, slimy pumpkin seeds were baby dragon teeth gungy from dead cat.. rice krispies were witches warts, a wet chamois leather ( car cleaning cloth) was a dead lizard.
Warm soup ( just lukewarm) with pasta twists in it were the zombies belly and you had to put your hand into it via a pice if flexible plastic tubing.. the old venting kit from a tumble dryer lined with a wet tea towel to feel ..well.. horrible! The other thing that is really good is while they are blindfolded turn them around a couple of times while they are walking about so they get totally disorientated! Oh and let out a few screeches just as they are about to touch something..
apparently I did all this to the kids but I can't remember being this good.. er bad!!! [smiley=laugh.gif]

Nani,

I made the kitty litter cake for a Halloween party.  It's yummy!

And the turds are the best part.

Enjoy!

Chocolate mousse splashed all through the bathroom,
then let them watch as you lick it off.

I've never been able to eat the stuff again since I did it to a mate's bridal suite.
