Some of you may remember Athos asking for opinions on ad copy he was working on. Here are the results....no charge to OUCH.

Athos' ad on page 29. It was at the bottom of a 2 page story concerning a much loved webmaster that passed on a couple of months ago.

I was wearing the OuCH hat at the race and somebody came up to me and asked what OuCH meant... I went through the whole story.

One at a time, we educate the people of the world to our condition.
Our story is getting out there...

Awesome jo to those involved.

You saw no charge to ouch. Thats great but who pays? Also who is paying for the Decals on the ouch car? I'm just curious as I would hate to lose it...coolest thing we,as Ouch, have. Hope we can keep it.

The ad in the program was provided free of charge to OUCH. How? Because I asked the promoter of the race and the person that did the programs to donate a small space for "charity" in the program. They gladly agreed to do so......and OUCH benefited from the exposure.

The OUCH car is a different story. Originally, I asked our car owner if I could put OUCH on the back of the car until a paying sponsor could be signed. Because a paying sponsor could not be found, the decals stayed on the car the entire year. I paid for the decals, and the space on the car was free. To answer how much that was worth.......somewhere in the 5 figure range.

Moral of the story.....sometimes all ya gotta do is ask. ;)
