Title: Re: Wild Child Post by Pegase on Nov 6th, 2004, 11:31pm Well Lizzie... you should choose something that has a strong meaning for YOU... something that will have value for YOU... Keep in mind that unlike your piercing you got your tatto for the rest of your life... but I'm sure you knew that ;) I got one tatto so far but I'm planing to have my next one soon... ;) Phil |

Since this is a lifetime decision........if you don't already know what you want, go for the 3/4" rose on your butt. It's _so_ hard to decide, what with the barbed wire, the gargoyles and the bats from hell. Maybe Elmo on the ankle, RJ |

Title: Re: Wild Child Post by sandie99 on Nov 7th, 2004, 8:18am Hi Lizzie! How about taking a tattoo which describes you the best? I would pick one of my favourite things such as stars, moon or a dolphin. But don't get a tattoo before you're sure about what tattoo you really want... Best wishes, sandie99 |

Title: Re: Wild Child Post by Donna_D. on Nov 7th, 2004, 11:53am Remember Lil Sis... It is permanent....be careful what and where....I know lots of ladies with them in highly visible spots. They are 15 years down the road from where you are and some of them have real regrets about their choices. Make it pretty! I know you thought about this for a while. Send a pic when you get it. DD |

Title: Re: Wild Child Post by Redd715 on Nov 7th, 2004, 12:00pm I've planned out with the artists each and every tattoo I have... the one on my arm was over 10 years of collective work of three artists... I have no regrets, but then as I said I've planned them out well, and collaberatively designed them. No Flash work in this gal....LOL |

Title: Re: Wild Child Post by Melissa on Nov 7th, 2004, 1:16pm The tattoo I have, I had wanted since I was 12 yrs old. It wasn't until after my mother died, when I was 26 yrs old, that I was finally able to get it done. It represents part of who I am. The next ones I will be getting, will be of my childrens names and my husbands (I will not even tell him that I am thinking about getting it done). The reason why I will be getting my kids names done is obvious, but many say you should not get a husbands name done in case of divorce later on. My husband loves me unconditionally and treats me like an equal. I have never found anyone like him in all my life. He is my heart and soul and when he is away, I feel like 1/2 of me is missing. Anyway, to make a long story short, I think that tattoos are a window to ones soul and should be contemplated for awhile before deciding on getting one done. my [smiley=twocents.gif] ....mel |
