Title: please start the prayers, vibes, etc... Post by cschick on Nov 6th, 2004, 9:00am My sister, Ellen, who is the best and greatest friend and sister in the world, is having Gastric Bypass on Tuesday, November 9th. This has been a long time in coming. She has considered this for about 2 years and the time has come. She is scared out of her wits yet VERY excited about what is to come. I love her so much and just need to know that others will be thinking about her as she undergoes this dangerous surgery. It will calm me and I know it will calm her if I am steady. Even though I am the "baby" of the family, I often feel like I am the one everyone looks to to stay level-headed. I need you all to keep me level so I can keep her level. Sounds kinda silly but it makes sense to me. I love you guys and know you are a caring bunch even though you act like a bunch of hard-noses most of the time! ;;D Karen |
