Title: Hmmmmmm!.... Post by Jonny on Nov 5th, 2004, 5:36pm Ok, you all know I dont share my pain (you bunch are a pain in my ass as it is) and probably never will, but, I thought I would throw this out there cause it has never happened to me in the 30 years Ive been battling. I crashed last night and was up with an 8 in 90 mins flat, I crawled (Sciatica) up the stairs to my office and started huffing the 02. With the mask in one hand and an ice pack in the other, I had my eye on the Zomig NS sitting in front of me.....WTF?.....in 5 mins the fuckin thing was completely gone, vamoose, sianara :o ....just with 02! Three hours later here we go again, only this time it was a ragging 10....flew up the stairs like I never heard the word sciatica. Fuck the 02...gimme that Zomig....while leaning over to grab my ice pack out of the fridge I was pushing the plunger on the Zomig, half of it went in and half went in my eye (It was closed)....before I could wipe it out of my eye the CH was completely gone. As soon as the spray went in the CH drained away within seconds. I dont post much about my head because you all have your own head to worry about......I just thought this was weird enough shit to post seeing that CH has never been that easy to kill....could be that all the boots ive broken off in his ass are telling him that enough is enough.....LMMFAO ;;D .........................jonny |

Title: Re: Hmmmmmm!.... Post by Kevin_M on Nov 5th, 2004, 6:07pm You're right jonny, when they get going like that it's like trying to stop a locomotive. See what continues to happen. Fast escalation and fast shut down. Don't know. I've woken up with it going good and coming on fast before, but it was the full bitch, going too much to back it down quickly. Glad they disappeared so fast. Kevin M |

Title: Re: Hmmmmmm!.... Post by Jonny on Nov 5th, 2004, 6:15pm Thanks folks Don, what does it matter chronic/episodic in this case? If you really need to know and dont have the balls to call and ask....its 29 1/2 years chronic and then about five months PF (with shadows) and right back to chronic. Your welcome to come for dinner Sunday....im laying a new concrete slab in the back yard and need some filler ;) |

Might matter a lot. If your whole situation is changing then your treatment options might change with it. What may not have touched a CH when you were chronic might be effective for you now. You may have more amunition now than you've had in the past. |

No, I agree. Impossible that enough could get in the eye to do any good. I think absorbsion through the eye is faster though. Safety though is a different thing. Still a mystery bro... ??? It could have happened once to me, but I certainly would never have remembered, probably just went back to sleep and forgot. See how it goes, twice in a row is... unusual. Kevin M |

Sorry jonny, meant that there have been times I've woken up during the night a couple times everynight and come morning not remember getting up. If one of them went away quickly, I may have probably fell asleep and didn't remember it, unusual as it would have been. I have had one or two quickly subside for no reason while awake, but only up to a 6. Just saying it might have happened to me. I agree it's unusual and I'd be the last to have an answer. I wonder if this isn't too far from it. You were already in great pain with the ch plus the pain of the sciatica crawling/running up the stairs. Maybe the pain rapidly depleted your Substance P levels and that combined with the exertion may have killed it for you. Maybe it's signalling the end of an era or maybe the beast is just screwing with your head. Time will tell. I hope that your journey with the beast is coming to an end. 30 years is too damn long. Title: Re: Hmmmmmm!.... Post by thomas on Nov 6th, 2004, 11:01am Dude, it happens to me all the fucking time, that's why I have to wait so long to abort, because I am afraid I will waste a very expensive abortive. Gena gets them too, where they ramp up real fast and then, POOF .......... gone, whitout a whimper. I am surprised more people haven't had this....... I thought it was just a normal part of ch. Ask Blake, but I think he gets the same stuff too, he calls them "jolts". They are a PITA but beat the hell out of the hour plus grinders. PF wishes. |

Title: Re: Hmmmmmm!.... Post by Redd715 on Nov 6th, 2004, 11:32am I've had that happen but I just considered them twinges of sorts because they didn't last very long at all....hell sometimes they were gone before I could get through the mess of the alcohol swab and getting the cap off the syringe. I never concidered them full on attacks but this happening to others is making me stop and rethink this.... |

Title: Re: Hmmmmmm!.... Post by Redd715 on Nov 6th, 2004, 12:48pm That is what I'm refering to Hun...the damn thing ramps up and nearly drops me to my knees... and before I can even get the the cap off the syringe it's gone...poof... Happened at work yesterday as a matter of fact...I'm walking back from the fax machine, and my face begins to melt and my eye is watering and I freeze in my tracks and Brenda walks up to me and says ..."Hun there is no need to cry...." In seconds the damn thing passed and I felt like such a whoos. |
