Title: Colin lost.... Post by cschick on Nov 4th, 2004, 7:44pm HIS FIRST TOOTH!!!! YIPPEE! Well, let me just say he lost it in more ways than 1. He lost it at school and they gave him a container to put in then when he got to daycare after school he took it out to show some of the kids and he dropped it in the WHITE pebbles. *sigh* It was never to be seen again. When Chris got there to pick him up he was SOBBING! He was convinced the tooth fairy would not come and give him his money, so when they got home they e-mailed the tooth fairy and explained the situation to her and all is good. ;) So the Tooth Fairy will be visiting our house tonight. ;;D |

Title: Re: Colin lost.... Post by AussieBrian on Nov 4th, 2004, 7:55pm First (and only) time I left a tooth under the pillow I woke to find it replaced by 20 cents and a note:- "Thanks for the tooth, kid, and here's your money. I'll be back tonight for the rest of them!" It was signed TF. |

Title: Re: Colin lost.... Post by nani on Nov 4th, 2004, 10:21pm OK Karen...the subject line scared the crap out of me at first. Colin...LOST!?!?! That's my anxiety disorder...give me a choice and I think the worst. Copngrats to Colin...teeth are worth a lot of money these days. When I finally felt I had to come clean about Santa to my then 4th grader...I didn't want the kids to give him crap- he listened carefully to my explanation about Santa being the spirit of Christmas and in that respect exists..blah blah... When I was done I asked if he had any questions and he said rather tentatively... "Who else?" When I came clean about the Easter Bunny and the tooth fairy, he said. "I was afraid of that!" Enjoy this time in his life, as you know they grow soooo fast... |

Title: Re: Colin lost.... Post by cschick on Nov 4th, 2004, 10:46pm sorry, Nani, didn't even think about that when I posted! [smiley=laugh.gif] The TF has already come visiting. I looked and the cheap wench only left him $2! What's up with that? ;;D There may be a trip to the toy store in the very, very near future to make up for that cheapo TF! |

Title: Re: Colin lost.... Post by LeLimey on Nov 5th, 2004, 4:00am My middle son lost his first tooth two days before his ninth birthday. As you can imagine he was getting pretty desperate as he had seen the £££ mounting up for his sister so when my neighbours puppy lost a tooth he snaffled it to put under his pillow. Needless to say I was one step ahead of him.. he woke up the next morning to a dog biscuit and the knowledge that the tooth fairy is no dumb pushover [smiley=laugh.gif] |
