Hiya Gang,

Just wanted to post to say hello since a few people have asked where I've been lately. Just doin battles with the beast and have had a lot of crazy doctor's appts lately, but that's nothing new really!! Baseline of chronic headache seems to be kicking my arse these days, but I'll get through. 203 days until graduation! ;)

I decided that I want to go into neonatal nursing once I graduate, so I've been a little busy with finding out what exactly I need to do to get a job in the ICN/trans nursery here at Jefferson. Not to mention all the commuting I've been doing from Philly to home because my current clinical is out by my house! It is not fun to get up at 4:45am!

Then there's this new relationship I'm in. :) Don't want to jinx it or anything, but I think I am happier than I've ever been with anybody else! I'm dating a guy named David who is 9 years older than me, divorced (no kids), and just an all around wonderful guy. :) He hasn't seen me in CH attack mode yet, so we'll see how he handles that one. He told me his initial response would be to just leave the room and let me be until it was over... Good Answer!!! We can only see each other on the weekends, but it is going well so far. :)

Other than that just been kinda busy and feelin like shiznit with the headaches and all. I just got my next clinical assignment today which will be for Pediatrics and down at AI Dupont Children's Hospital in Wilmington, DE. Kinda a far commute for me, but Peds should be fun!! I think eventually I'm just going to stay awake until the time I have to be up to get ready for clinicals because it keeps getting earlier and earlier!!

Anyhow...thanks for those who were checking up on where I was. I really appreciate it! Keeps me sane to talk with friends. ;)

I hope and pray that you can make to graduation. Then you can have some inpatient time to celebrate, what a life we lead LOL.

Hi Carrie :D Thanks for checking in sounds like you got your hands full ;)

Congrats on picking your specialty, I know how much you enjoyed it when you were there, good for you!
