OK, maybe this sounds weird, but after I give myself an imitrex injection I feel very emotional. I get emotional for a few hours or so, then I'm better.

Does anyone else get this way?

Hi Kimmie,

The only emotion I get with Trex is the feeling of total relief. And it's a very good one :)

No other side effects for me.

I don't think the Imitrex makes a person more emotional. I think it is more likely that extreme pain can leave a person both physically and emotionally weakened and more susceptible to emotional stimuli.

Then again, there is always the fallback blanket statement: Everyone is different and reacts to medications differently.

I feel real emtional before I hit the imitrex, and I'm not being smart. I mean my heart is racing so hard from panic, then once I take the shot I feel relaxed and at peace and like FAR OUT!!! just kidden on that last one. [smiley=cool2.gif]
