Grab your bottled water, flashlights, and duct tape. If all goes as is likely: The Red Sox are set to break the curse by winning the World Series on the night of a lunar eclipse, just before Halloween and a likely contested National Election. Actually, I doubt that even duct tape can handle this. :o

A non-related question:

Am I the only one for whom all the gifs no longer are animate and that has to refresh the board all the time now to read my new posts? Ever since this afternoon, my little guy as well as the rest of them are stationary. I don't like it.

Yup. My dancing guy and all animated gifs on the board are deader than doornails. I can't get them to move.

Earlier in the day I connected to hyperet which is a freebee from my server. I think this is some kind of compression thing and perhaps for speed, it sacrifies the animation?

I miss all this and if that's the case, I'll disconnect it. I don't necessarily need the little extra speed that it brings. Nice though.

They work fine in my collections but gifs I send all the time are now dead. They are there but stationary.

Also, I have to refresh every time I post here in order to look at my new stuff. I haven't had to do that in years. It's a PITA.

Help.

Nope. Not dancing and they emailed me that their hyperlink sacrifices gif annimation for speed. I must say that I love the speed I now have.....sometihing like four or five times faster and the pix download very fast. I miss animation though. I'll have to work on setting it up so I can have an option. I hope I can do that.

Will things will never be the same in Boston, Jonny? My neighbor talked to me today for the first time in many a moon. Said he was 91 and was old enough to have been there when the Sox won in 1918 so it wasn't a big deal to him..... :D
