Title: Excuse for Music Post
Post by notseinfeld on Oct 16th, 2004, 12:02am
Had a classic road-woody this evening: Put a ridiculous stereo system in my car last year that I can really only 'apply' on the interstate cawz it's just so damned obnoxious to fellow drivers. However, every now and then one can enter that glorious music zone with a fav CD and rock 'like no one's listening.'

Well, someone was listening. A dark haired goddess pulled up next to me on the right, gave a wink and a smirk,  jammin where she sat. When I looked at her more closely, apparently she was jammin to my music. Ooooh. Stuck at a  light I had the opportunity to roll down the window, kick that sucker to 30 and do the totally hip "driver's seat undulation."
Here's the tune du jour
HooAhh (http://www.mindspring.com/~dlehman/Cluster%20Music/HooAhh.mp3 )

Helps to hear it playing loudly, of course.

Rush's Red Barchetta from the Moving Pictures album is my favorite driving tune.  I have to watch myself, though.  I lose all sense of speed.  I've had to elude a state trooper more than once listening to that song.   ;;D  Ah, the good old days.

Loverboy. A good ol' Canadian band. I know the female back up singer quite well - Nancy Nash. She has some pipes. Mike Reno the lead singer is from Edmonton where I live. He's put on about 60 pounds since the 80's.  ;;D

Turn my loose is a really great song.... I even downloaded the bass tablature from the Internet to learn the bass guitar riff.... easy to play eventhough I'm not really good;-)

However my favorite song from Loverboy is this one:

Strike zone

If yer interested do a google on "Breathe" and see if ya can pull the info.  Wonderful lyrics great songwriting!!!!
