Title: Medical Updates Post by Lizzie2 on Oct 15th, 2004, 8:49pm Well you know I couldn't have a day without more fun medical stuff! I came home from clinical and took my shoe off, and my right foot is definately a nice shade of black! I called my family doc, and I went to see her this afternoon. She was upset that I'd been walking on it for a few days! She told me not to listen to my dad again and just call her right away the next time something happens! haha I got sent for a stat x-ray at the hospital, and it was negative for fracture, which is good! So it is just a really nasty bruise!!! However, my blood pressure at the doctor's office had to be checked 3 times. I don't know what it was the first time. The 2nd time it was 148/100, and the 3rd time it was 130s/90s. I don't get this. I'm 23 and don't weigh that much! It's either the stress, the pain, or my crazy hypertensive family genetics!! Just checked it a few minutes ago and it was like 138/95 with a pulse of 110. Oy...gonna go lay down before I puke. Someone please lend me a new body? Hugz, Lizzie2/Carrie :) |
