Still in ALOT of pain. Still getting hit with 10's too many times in a 24 hour period. Still feel like the back of my head is gonna blow off. Getting weaker than I was (takes me 20 minutes to walk 3 blocks, with a break in between), and my legs hurt like hell. I told my sis in law, when I walk, I get this burning sensation in my lower back near the kidney area. I'm on a double dose of testosterone, as the level in my body continues to drop - even while doing the HRT. The Doc said the reason my body isn't making the proper amount of Testosterone is the direct result of all of the different meds I have been on over the years. That might be what is causing the metabolic breakdown in my muscles - which is what is making it hard to walk. I have to use a cane everywhere I go, and I hate it with a passion!
I'm just completely wiped out. I was bedridden for over 24 hours yesterday because I was too weak to do anything, and had to keep the 'Trex by my bedside (which I am almost out of again, grrrr.) Things aren't going well for me at all. I even have to wait until next month to get my Androgel refill because I don't have a measly $3 copay. Which reminds me:
You know you're poor when you can't get your White Castle hamburgers out of lay-a-way. ;;D

It has to be your turn for a break. Sorry for all the shit the world has decided to dump on you. At least you can come here. Try to move around a bit, even if it hurts, is all I can suggest.

I second that! My mom is 77 and having a hard time walking. I asked her if she wanted the government to buy her one of those scooters. She said, "Hell no! If I ever started relying on something like that, I really wouldn't be able to get around." Obviously, she subscribes to the "Use it or lose it" theory.

I think you should get pro-active on your meds too Carl. I wouldn't blindly take everything prescribed. Afterall, isn't that to a large extent what got you in this fix?

Carl, my man! Glad to see you can still hobble down the street and say hi to us. Been thinking about you, wondering how you are getting along. Thanks for the update. Wish I could do more for you than just offer up my prayers and send a boatload of vibes you way.
