Just wanted to post that I today met my first ever fellow Clusterheads. Drove about two hours to Wisconsin which was well worth it. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!!!! I'd like to thank Bluemeanie, Thomas, jminmilwaukee, Redd, alienspacebabe, Mrs. Bluemeanie, and especially the Polka Band for playing the Benny Hill theme. It was great meeting all of you!!! Thank you all for the hugs!!!! I wish more of you could have been there.

P.S. I didn't get any hugs from the Polka Band members, and I'm thoroughly disappointed!!!!

Was good meeting you too Chuck. It was back in July that I first met another clusterhead, and 100 of them, for the first time and Jonny is right. There is nothing like it in the world.

So you keep the moment for posterity for all time on your computer desk top......

Y'know, we actually ran the oktoberfest keg dry :)

Next time we will forwarn the events commitee about the thirst of such a bunch!

It was truelly a great time had by all, welcoming some new faces and revisiting with others.

Davenport anyone?

Cool picture glad you guys got together and had a great time.....It is so nice to put a face to the squiggles on a Message Board... you'll never be the same and you will miss your Cluster family like no other... love ree...

Although I have never been surrounded by 100 clusterheads, and I understand that that would be overwhelming to say the least, I have to add one observation to this post.

The first time I actually came face to face with ONE clusterhead a great feeling of relief washed over me. Seeing in the eyes of one who actually knows what you are going through from a perspective that no one without CH could understand is a feeling like no other I have ever experienced.

I imagine it is quite similar for a supporter to meet another supporter.

That's a great point jminmilwaukee!!! I've never thought of it that way, guess I was concerned with myself meeting a sufferer, but you're totally correct, a supporter meeting a supporter MUST creat that same feeling for them, therefore giving the individual a sense of normalcy.
