A couple more!! A little less pretty, and a little more scary!! Can you see the big patches of Avascular Necrosis in these two MRI scans??? (hint...near the center of my knee there are two circles on both sides of the knee to represent the femoral condyles...the big white patches in the center of the circles are dead bone!)

For me..it is a Prednisone-related disaster.

I'll know more on Monday...I have an appt with an orthopedic surgeon at Penn.

That IS pretty scary! (Hey, considering so many peoples' difficulties with Prednisone, should there be some kind of warning in the information links about it?)

The MRI scans make your knees look like excellent candidates for the new monsters in an Aliens 4 movie.
