I'm in cycle and it hurts :(

and I feel as if I am being picked on. For me that is uncommon.

Of which the evidence for is lacking.  I don't think there is much we can say that will change your interpretations of the help provided.   The first day of kindergarten must have been traumatic.

I take Imetrex nasal spray and I also have an 02 tank in my house. On a regular basic I take codine but it doesn't really work for much but sometimes it prolong's the enevitable.

Anything else  that you would like to know feel free ???????????

Ok Dave,

you might want to go to your doctor and ask him to try you on Verapamil. This drug takes about 10 days to get into your system and has been a life saver for most clusterheads. any where from 180mg to 920mg per day can help you. The combination of Lithium and verapamil has prooved to be very helpful to me.

Also are you using your o2 with a non breather mask?
Are you using your o2 at a high enough flow rate??

You also might want to find out about Imitrex injections. They are the usual favorite of clusterheads as they work very fast.

You really need to be on a preventative medication for your clusterheadaches. VERAPAMIL!

For this question "YES"  I have obtained a proper mask from Terry if you know him (he's from Vancouver) and I can set my own breathing rate "flow"

I do not use a preventative since I am epesodic and would rather not be on med's.

Mine come once a year at the most twice.

Ueli talked me into using a pair of needle nose pliers to rip the filthy Caps Lock key off of my keyboard. It solved the "yelling" thing, cuz I'm too stupid to look at the keyboard and type, too. Beside, nobody needs a Caps Lock.

Well Pegase when someone says Have a great day but then insults my comprehension I see that as HIM TRYING TO  HAVE the last word... this is totally rediculous.  He isnt right.  He took my thread about a virus warning and never commented or saw MY GOOD INTENSIONS as he puts it... in saving people from a virus, but instead, insulted my server and went after me for posting in CAPs. A post that I wanted people to hear......... He is way over board and sorry but has insulted me in a more disgusting fashion in an earlier post and also someone that has done a great deal for this forum... for him to take this to me bullying him is absurd any one that knows me knows, first of all Im 5 feet tall weigh in at 105-110 lbs and teach Sunday school... Jeepgun needs to relax........ My gripe to him was to not stand up and critisize people that have been here a heck of a lot longer than him...He also critisized me directly after he had insulted me in that other thread.  His intention was to insult my server, and put me in my place for using CAPS. Its clear to all the people that have PM'd me, and those that matter to me. Im not continuing this rediculous ideaany longer... while so many people suffer from CH attacks.
I appologize for my comment on this thread that seemed to hijack it from Dave Brick and his issues.  I really didnt thinK that Jeepgun couldnt take a little razzin from someone.  Other people seem to be able to say anything Yet THIS 5 FOOT BULLY CAN'T.   Take a chill pill Jeepgun but stay away from my posts if you insult me I will call you on it...

Ok Ree... Now I have both side of the story but anyway my post wasn't against anyone... just a constatation of the normality... But who the fuck is normal when you have CH... ;)

Sorry BAD day...  Fucking hurt. Hope everyone is at least having a better day fighting the Beast.  

Dave... Stick around. There are really good people here, but everyone has bad days and you have to weed through posts to see what helps you the best.  If you dont then you feel picked on and unwanted.  And if you decide to take off, then I guess we might see you again when your cycle kicks in again. As far as not wanting to be on meds, is a choice that a lot of episodics make.  Wish all of us had that leasure (probably spelled wrong).  But if you are on a mild med that did not effect your daily life nad made it so that you did not have cycles once or twice a year, isn't that something to consider?
