I didn't realize that going out to a dance and having a few drinks was going to get me outcasted on this site !!!!!!!!!

So far everyone that has responded has insulted me as a total bommer. With the assuption that I am a total ass.

Dave maybe your eyes aren't focusing properly yet.  I don't see what could be considered insults or any words which would have suggested being unwelcome.  The assumption you make is your lone perspective.  

Everyone here has probably done the same thing before.  Don't take the comments as harsh, lots of sober comments were made.

No Dave. No one made you an outcast. And everyone did not insult you.

Alleyoop was the first to answer you. 3 times he said no more drinks. He gave you an alternative to help you. You insisted on ignoring him.

I read it that everyone was trying to give good advice. But you read it that you were being insulted when your behavior was questioned.

We don't like to see anyone suffer with cluster headaches. We also don't like anyone that refuses to stop the destructive behavior whinning that their head hurts.

We're here to help and to support, Dave. There is an incredible wealth of collective information, here. If people say that alcohol is one of the biggest triggers of cluster headaches, it's not because someone is trying to insult you or take you to task for going out or drinking. People are simply trying to relay a well-known and documented fact. That's just the way it is. I enjoy a glass of whiskey as much as the next person and wish it weren't a problem when I'm in cycle, but it is, and when I'm in cycle, I stay away from the firewater. That's all.

Might be a good time to end this thread, read all the info in the left column and start again anothr day.

We honestly do care, and it has been made quite clear that cluster heads in general like a drink now and again, me included, but they don't mix.

lesson 1 if you drink when your in a cycle make sure you have your meds.

Lesson 2 when you ask for advice lissen.

Lesson 3 when everybody who nows because they been there say dont drink, you dont drink or you stop crying about it!!

Lesson 3 when you say you go to a canadianbord just do it but dont blame it on others.

No. They are all caps. I got them along with the face lift, tummy tuck and butt-cheek implants years ago when I was a big movie star in Hollywood.

I really didn't know that about caps, Bob.  Thanks for the daily lesson, which is a routine exercise in retaining my short term memory.

I was born in Cleveland, the home of Rock and Roll, the yearly return (March 15th) of the migrating buzzards, and radio station WMMS.

I don't understand this or what you are asking from folks on the board, you posted lots of message threads, communicating about one message thread in another message thread, it is a recipe for tons of confusion. Dave, I recommend you keep it simple and stick to one thread per subject and be clear what you are asking for.  It is just too darn confusing for people to respond properly too all these threads you are posting, do you see?  Welcome aboard Dave.

I can second that. For just about everyone, alcohol is a definite trigger.  

Hope you can heed this advice and let us know how you are doing. Try using an existing thread though.
