It's been over 5 years since my last cluster....now their back. Nice to see that I'm not alone(although I do not wish these things on anyone). My god I've been in so much pain..glad I don't own a gun! Last night would have been it for me! Besides Imetrex what else works???

Yeah, I have noticed a bunch of newbies, too. Is the word getting out or more people getting them? Welcome to the family, Jeff. Trex is the best abortive for me and most here, but there are prevents and other options all on the meds page.

Agreed. For whatever reason, my own cycle has switched to late winter, but up until last year, the first part of September would kick off a cycle for me.

Sorry about the relapse. Five years pf is great. Anything you did different, either way, that made it stay away or make it return? Anything?

Welcome to the madhouse. I'm glad you found us but sorry you had to. Look up the O2 information. It's good advice.

If you stick around, you'll find a lot of good ideas about dealing with this horror. It's a lot of reading and worth it.

Read all you have time for here, and then if you still have questions, someone should always be around to answer. If not, yell at us harder, sometimes we're stubborn...... ;)

Welcome Jeff.

Focus your pain... I use the first week of any episode to begin home-improvement projects...sticking my fists through unsightly drywall and any other home-demolition projects that pop into my mind. Hint... keep your Stud-Finder next to your Imitrex syringe.

Then the meds kick in and you are good to go. Lotsa nice treatments about.

Try the shroomy thing. Funnest med on the planet.
