Mel--did you use a star filter or was it just the refraction through the lens?

Red in the morning, sailors take warning...It's gonna rain.

No Pic   but can't wait for this Bad Boy!!!!!

2005 - Kingda Ka / Golden Kingdom - (9/29/04) SFGAdv will open the world’s tallest and fastest roller coaster in 2005 under the name Kingda Ka. Kingda Ka, from Intamin, will launch riders at 128 mph in just 3.5 seconds before they fly up the enormous 456 foot tall hill and down again. Like Cedar Point’s Top Thrill Dragster, it will roll 90º on the way up, spiral 270º on the vertical plunge down the other side, and then it will fly over a 129 foot tall airtime hill.  The ride will feature a double-sided loading station and 4 trains, each holding 18 passengers. From the concept artwork, I noticed that they are using the new Over The Shoulder restraints used on Hersheypark’s Storm Runner last year as well.

It was just the refraction through the lens.  I noticed with my old polaroid, it only used to be and up and down white line with sun pics, so I am thrilled with the outcome of my sun pics now with the Sony Mavica. :)

Luke have you ridden the Incredible Hulk at Islands of Adventure?

I went on that one a few years ago with my best friend.  We actually rode it a few times.  By the last time, Cathy (my best friend) starting to see black and some spots. haha  I liked that ride except for the head banging it causes!!  (That's non-CH head banging for all you roller coaster fans!) ;)

Luke,

If I come to Florida this December, can we go ride some coasters together?  I haven't been on one in probably 3 or 4 years now!!!  I think the last time was my freshman year at Penn State, which would actually make it 5 years since I rode one!!

Lizzie :)

Do you have a telescope to look @ the moon? I have an inexpensive tele and love looking @ the moon and stars. Renee thinks I'm nuts 'cause I'll be out on a cold night checking out the stars...then make her come see, too. She just says "Uh, huh. That's nice Tom." and goes inside. Gotta luv it.

Even with a thick coat of clear lacquer this bell could not keep its shine after ten years on the ocean.

Off the shelf polish wont dent this dullness, so I broke out jonny's big gun's   [smiley=bigguns.gif]

Power tools my friend, a 1/4 horse power die grinder with a buffing wheel. lots of polishing rouge and strength ;;D

The die grinder is so powerfull it could break your arm if the wheel caught the cord and wrapped around your arm.
