Here I am on my sofa with my lap top and a cup of tea. Almighty hell is being pounded on my roof above me (the roofers). The neighbours kids beneath me are screaming bloody murder and the mother is yelling. To top it all there is an African American man detailing his car out side, his gangster rap music is playing very loud and the base is coming through to my apartment.

I love a day at home don't you???? :-/
I think I might have to go to a friends house for the rest of the day.

Silence is golden. Now if I could just effing well get some!!!!!

C'mon up to my house lovey...it's cpmpletely empty...4 walls...1 bird...and a coffee pot....and a bottle of wine...pack of smokes...thats all.....think that should give ya some silence??? Luke

Welcome here too Jayne. It's like a mausoleum here. One guy behind me is 84 and now and then I check on him, he's so quiet, the other retired woman is even older than me and is rarely home. The Preacher next door is strange and very quiet.....you have to wonder what he's doing over there. Of the other three, one is a librarian, one is 79, and the others are never home either. I'm the one who's the PITA.

All I ask is you bring Lysol. ::)

Drink Jayne, at least you'll pass out.
