I thought it was a nucular explosion mushroom cloud in deep space as I was slowly scrolling down, then I saw the stem. Nice affects! Rose hunting at night now Mel? It's looking legal size. ;;D

LOL Kevin! Well, that IS a rose, but believe it or not, I took the pic in broad daylight. I'm not sure how it happened to come out that way, but it was blue skies and high noon sun.

I think you are right. Didn't that coaster have an accident not all that long ago? I remmeber seeing something about it on the news. Last time I went to HersheyPark they only had 3 coasters I think...The Comet, The Sidewinder, and the Sooper Dooper Looper. I always liked the looper the best :) But I loooooove the log flume at Hershey!! ;)

Mel,

Great pic! What variety is it? Looks like Brandy to me, but I can't really tell. I'd like one for my garden though if you know the name.

Hi Jerry,

I have no idea what variety it is, all I know is that it's a minature rose bush, and the color is peach or apricot, or perhaps a yellow hybrid. I saw the bush at the store with 1 flower on it and about died it was so beautiful. The bush only lasted me about 3 years, and then died on me due to our crappy weather and soil. The roses were flaming in the sunshine tho, I really miss it.
