I would love to see Richard Bandler create a 50ft purple Allah that tells them to smarten up...Perhaps a 50ft Allah would scare the crap out of them enough to make them see another way... The tragedy of the actual murder is only half the story, it's the public display and the fact they understand enough about human nature to know that even though we find it repulsive and gory and horrifying the general populace can't make themselves stop watching it. It's that insight into the human psyche that scares me more than anything, it's what they are able to use and manipulate as the primary basis for 'terrorism'. If no one watches it, no one can be terrorized by it, they have no power over other's and their fear. I somehow doubt we can change human nature though. :-/ |

I know they happen, and it makes my heart sink like a rock. I remember back in 7th grade, watching the after effects of dropping the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Our history teacher showed the movie of the devastation and destruction of the Japanese people. I sat at my desk and felt the tears come as my heart was ripped out for these people. I still get that way today as an adult when I, by chance, view such attrocities. All I can do to help the world, is be a good person to my fellow human beings and try to set a good example for my children. |
