Because you are new here, there are dynamics to this board that don't make sense to you.

The best way to think of it is that this is like a very large family and community. If your family is like any other that I know, you will have arguments and disagreements with each other, but in the end, when you need their help they'll be there. This group of people is very passionate in their activities. Often times emotions run high, and of course this medium doesn't allow for any non verbal clues. The support element is always available here. There is a wise man who has used the term, "take what you need and leave the rest." Disagreements happen all the time here, so take them with a grain of salt and look for the information that helps you.

As for the Ali/Lisaa deal, this is a person who has been showing up here for a long time. The folks here get very protective of sufferers when someone comes along and promises a cure. When people are hurting so bad, they want to grasp anything at all that might help them. More often than not, this gives false hope and is detrimental to sufferers. No one here tolerates someone who promises a cure for money. As of right now there is no cure, surgical or otherwise. Some of the 'snake oil' salesman that show up here don't heed gentle or subtle redirection and it's necessary sometimes to become very harsh.

I hope you stick around and discover what is available to help, and just let the rest go by the wayside if it doesn't do anything to help you.

That and the fact that some people dont have enough drama in their real lives so they play it out in make believe cyber life and suck every one into it and away from the reason we are here.

There is plenty of support here for you. Just spend 3 or 4 hours digging through the melo drama and you'll find it.

yeah, Ali has been showing up here for about four years pushing his frankenstien surgery......I have found that the only way to make him go away is to insult the shit out of him......Whatever it takes to make him go away I will do, thats unless you want him to carve up your brain ;;D
