Title: Re: Crud... Post by brain_cramps on Sep 18th, 2004, 9:16pm Me too and I don't even have kids. I was over at a friend's last weekend and his kids were all over me, runny noses and everything. I guess my immune system isn't used to being around a couple of little germ-factories like that. grant |

Title: Re: Crud... Post by nani on Sep 18th, 2004, 9:21pm I'm surrounded by snot nosed little rugrats - my own and the kids I teach. I somehow have mastered the art of NOT getting sick. No sir - no virus or bacteria will get me. uh-uh. I am the master of my immune system!Imagine that God makes us perfect and we don't have to succumb to germs. It works! (No colds in 3 - yes 3 years). I am currently working on having the same power over clusters...I'll let you know how it turns out. :) |

Title: Re: Crud... Post by Charlie on Sep 20th, 2004, 7:43pm Sorry about that kids. One of the few nice things about getting old is that you are immune to a ton of colds. Garrison Keillor calls children "virus vacuums." Charlie (I'll make some room for you) http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/STRETCHER.gif |

Title: Re: Crud... Post by Jeepgun on Sep 21st, 2004, 8:29am I hope everyone with the crud will get well soon. Whenever I feel the first signs of a cold, I say inwardly, "Oh no you don't!! I don't have time to be ill!" I repeat this message a few times until I feel that my body has received the message. I can count on one hand, the times I've ever been sick. |
