Ivan has already cost me bucks AND I LIVE IN MASSACHUSETTS!

My step daughter goes to Tulane University. They are closing the school and sending everyone home.

One of the most prestigious academic centers in the world you'd think they'd be smart enough to have HURRICANE SHELTERS!

New Orleans is below sea level.  If they get hit by a major storm, you don't want your daughter there.  The flooding might trap her in the shelter for weeks - inadequate food, no sanitation, no electricity, no air conditioning.

BTW the mayor of New Orleans has advised those that cannot leave to evacuate up. That means above the third floor.
